This project started with the problem of increasing revenue and differentiating from competitors.  I bundled products together and offered them at different prices and combinations regionally throughout the world.  The optimal price and configurations were developed and launched.  This had an amazing impact on revenue and opened the door for differentiation by introducing FEA to the mainstream engineering and designer users. 

After understanding how IT professionals buy software - it is far easier to scale existing products in their company than to expand to new products, we changed the licensing from a per product basis to a usage basis.  This way all of our products could be sold at the same time and customers could use and grow as they needed.  It completely changed how to land and expand.

DraftSight was a project to shift value from 2D CAD to 3D CAD and get the attention of 2D users not using DS products currently.  It was wildly successful with millions of users and millions in revenue making it the second most popular 2D CAD package in the world behind market leader AutoCAD.
